Facts and Figures

• Commissioned in 2000.
• Transports gas from the Gippsland Basin in Victoria to markets in Sydney and regional centres along the route.
• Gas is supplied to the EGP at Longford and Orbost by local gas producers and through the VicHub facility.
• Current capacity of 91 PJ/annum.
• 797 km long.
• Supplies Bluescope Steel facilities at Port Kembla, Marubeni's Smithfield Power Station and Jemena's gas distribution network in New South Wales.
