Asset Overview

VicHub is an interconnect facility situated at the Longford Compressor Station, that enables gas to flow bi-directionally between the EGP and the GasNet Victorian gas transmission system. The VicHub facility was commissioned in January 2003.

VicHub has a nominal daily capacity of 150 TJ per day for injections into the Victorian market and 135 TJ per day for withdrawals from Victoria, subject to associated rights for receipt or delivery on the EGP.

Transportation Services

VicHub offers As Available or Firm Injection services for flow of gas from the EGP into Gasnet.
VicHub offers As Available Withdrawal services for flow of gas out of Gasnet and into the EGP.

At present there is As Available Capacity and 70 TJ/d of Firm Capacity available for contracting.

The standard VicHub GTA is currently being revised to align it better with the Victorian market.

Maintenance Plan*

For the Period 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010, Jemena has scheduled maintenance as set out in the table below.

Longford Compressor Unit 4
Some outages required to tie-in Compressor #4 will impact VicHub flows. The outage plan for Compressor #4 is currently under revision and will be posted independently on the Jemena EGP website.

* This Maintenance Plan is current as of 30 November 2009 but may be subject to change. Relevant parties will be notified of any material changes.
